Demand Responsive & Community Transport

Demand Responsive & Community Transport services are local bus services which are tailored to the needs of the passenger. They provide transport for people who would otherwise be disadvantaged because of age, mobility, disability or location and operate a bespoke door to door service.

Concessionary Travel Pass

You can use your Welsh Concessionary Bus Pass on all local bus services in Wales. You cannot use your Welsh pass for travel in England and you cannot use your English pass for travel in Wales.

Please be aware that your concessionary pass cannot be used on coach services such as National Express or Megabus. National Express do offer a Senior Coachcard for people over 60, which you can find more details here by clicking here.

The scheme is currently run by local authorities. If you wish to apply for a concessionary pass, please contact your local authority who will be able to provide you with a pass should you be eligible.

Arriva Trains Wales
Holders of Concessionary Travel Passes issued by Welsh local authorities are able to travel for free on any Arriva Trains Wales route on the following schemes:

Wrexham – Hawarden Bridge

Cambrian Coast (Machynlleth – Pwllheli)

Conwy Valley Line

Heart of Wales
